Ferry, traveling with your bicycle.
When it comes to travelling with your bike, there are few methods more convenient than going by ferry. In most cases, it's simply a case of rolling into the port, walking on board pushing your wheels and then heading to the passenger deck.
There are several operators to choose from offering destination along the European west cost. Including Euro Tunnel for landlubbers.
Update March 2025 New Ferry ?
There is hope of a new ferry between Rosyth and Dunkirk. This 20 hour sailing would run 3 times a week. It is hoped to start in the second half of 2025 but has to secure 3.5 million funding before sailing can start.

The fare is the same for adults and children with cycles. Children accompanying their parents on a child seat travel free of charge. Tandems are charged by the number of seats.
