Riding home to the Jura from Somerset 1000km of fun, most of the time.

Somerset 3 Day Mini Tour
Somerton to Watchet and the Quantock Hills.
After many false starts over the the last 2 years, Covid, Health and Family, finally we were able to test out our bikes on a mini tour in preparation for a longer tour.

Louhans 3 Day Mini Tour
Again with other comitments we have found it hard to escape on tour, but did manage 3 days in the Bresse and Jura countryside

It is time to set off on our first bike tour adventure.
Trying out the equipment and our bodies to make sure everything works as it should before planning longer ones. The sun is shining, there are a few clouds around so it’s not too hot and our bikes are packed and ready. I am both nervous and excited, although today is no further than we often travel on a Sunday.
