New Kitchen Set Up
Our
old kitchen was split between the two of us, stored in the bottom of a rear panniers. Which meant there was a lot of movement of gear when we needed to cook. Not really the best solution.
For our tour around Denmark and Norway I have spent the winter looking at several option that will work for us.
The large 20 litre dry-bag on the rear was tube like so not easy to access. So, we invested in a Ortlieb 31 litre rack pack.
It is a roll top bag which will hold our chairs and complete kitchen including most of the food.
Each part of the kitchen will be stored in suitable sacs or cool bags. When completely packed should weigh no more than 7 kg.
I like the way everything is stored neatly and there is still some space to store extra gas canisters and food.
Pots and Pans
With storage for a gas canister, utensils handles and washing up bits.
Cool Bag 1
Holds the chopping Board and Cultery with room for chilled food.
Packed Bag
All fits into the bag neatly, with some extra space.
