Tools, Repairs and Bodges..
It will happen sometime that clunk, thud when a part of your bike or equipment, snaps, sheers or seizes. Which you need something to get you moving again.
The list below is for touring in France and Europe where if you have a major problem you will not be to far from a Local Bike Shop or your can have a package delivered to your accommodation.
What we have in the tool bottle is for quick repairs, servicing on Bikes, Camping Equipment, Clothes.

Tool Case
I use a case that can either fit in a bottle holder under the Frame or can be thrown in a pannier.
Small Pliers
Useful tool for cutting and holding cable and other general maintainace.
Screwdriver
Large double headed screwdriver for general servicing.
Cables
Spare brake and gear cables.
Above is what we carry in the tool bottle. Travelling in Europe, we only carry a basic selection to cope with an emergency until we can get to a local bike shop.
I carry a second bag which is fitted under my saddle. This holds the inner tube, puncture repair kit, tyre levers, Spoke Spanner, multi tools with chain splitter and part of yogurt pot and inner tube for repairing side walls of tyres. Jenni carries the first aid kit and medication.
