Wet Weather

We will get wet that is one of the guarantees when you go cycle touring and every tour we have been on so far the rain has poured, drizzled and arrived horizontal.

For our adventure this year we have upgraded and added to our inclement weather gear. It can be pricey buying the top of the range Gore-tex. So with a little bit of research we found a company called Randy Sun selling jackets, socks and gloves at affordable prices. Our complete setup cost less than 150 euros. Including our trousers from decathlon.

We know no gear keeps you 100 percent dry but we hope our gear will keep the worst out. Even better we never have to use it.

After our tour we will do a full review our waterproofs. Which we hope will be useful to other cycle tourists.
