Lac Saint Point - Doubs.
Lac Saint Point in the department of Doubs France (25) is situated in a valley near the Switz Boarder.
The route around is about 20 kilometre long, shared on the northern side with the GTJ and on the southern side there are several kilometres of Cycle Way.
There are many detours to cafes, beaches, waterfalls, and natures reserves. For those who like climbing there are numerous Cols over 1000 metres that surround the Lake to test your legs.
La Source Bleu
Situated between the village of Malbuisson and Montperreux, this source is a shade of transparent blue.
There is parking next to the road, you can follow the Chemin La Source Bleu for about 300m through a meadow and woods until you reach the source. Picnic tables are available and once you have explored the source there are other local walks. I have added links in the POI.
A few kilometres west is the impressive Chateau de Joux with its imposing position and one of the deepest wells in France.
