Review KOVEA P-Adapter
When cycling around France we have noticed that in most small town supermarkets it was difficult to buy screw top gas canisters for our Jetboil and cooking stove, which on one occasion meant we nearly run out of gas.
The Kovea adapter allows you to use cheap puncture / pierce type gas canisters with standard screw thread camping stoves and lanterns.
How does it work ?

Kovea also manufacture an adapter for push fit canisters.
I have not seen the Kovea Pat Adapter or the Kovea P Adapter in the local outdoor adventure shops in France.
But was available on several online stores the price for the

Kovea Pat Adapter 15 Euro
To make the cooker more stable I would recommend buying a Gas Canister Stand there are several Brands available.
Pro's
- Light and compact easy to use.
- Gives you access to different types of canister where ever you are in Europe.
Con's
- Easy to lose rubber retainer.
- You will need to purchase a stand to make it more stable.
