Belfort Coulée verte
The cycle path Coulée in the Territoire de Belfort runs along the Haute Saône canal . It extends over 18 km between Essert and Châtenois-les-Forges near where it connects to the Euro Velo 6.
Mainly used for commuting, it is also a leisure area for families and people participating in activities.

Launched in 1986 by Jean-Pierre Chevènement the Mayor of Belfort
The objective was to repaint the graying walls and facades of the main streets in order to brighten up the city and the daily life of the inhabitants
